Seriously, they'll be unloading mech armor suits, dog tags, special effects helmets and more with 30 batches of items listed per day for 10 consecutive days. Just as they start to leave Lambert is right there and despite being wounded, he knocks out the Big Bad with one punch.More than a year after its release (and with a sequel on the way) Pacific Rim has legions of fans so it's safe to say that Prop Store's auction of items from the film (over 300 of them) will be a rousing success when it launches on August 25th at 9:00AM PST. With the destruction of the Mega Kaiju the villain is having a breakdown before collecting themselves and trying to figure out a new plan. The scene is brief, but it nicely tells you all you need to know about the terrible trio. This shot also makes a great comparison of the different personalities of the kaiju: Raijin is shown as forceful and brutal, bashing and smashing all builings around him in a frenzied rage, Hakuja is shown as agile, sneaky and stealthy, burrowing up from the ground and climbing up on buildings, and Shrikethorn slowly lumbers about, shoving things out of his way, highlighting his slowness in melee but advantage in ranged attacks. The scene where the three kaiju make their first introduction, smashing through buildings and stomping on fleeing civilians.until the Jaegers show up.Said kaiju not only pulls a No-Sell, it absorbs the force and slaps Gipsy several blocks away! Seems like the giant robots punching giant monsters are getting punched back. Gipsy Avenger, as per Jaeger tradition, opens a battle by punching a kaiju in the face. Also becomes Karmic Retribution when the same Hybrid that killed Titan fell onto the latter's Morningstar face first.

They get killed for it by the other Hybrid, but the fact that they chose to fight when they could have just played possum and survived is commendable. Titan Redeemer's pilots, even when they become sitting ducks after the Hybrid took out their legs, managed to kill one of them when it step into their line of fire. The resulting shockwave splits the Mega Kaiju in half in a spectacular blast worthy of the Holdo maneuver itself. In the end, the solution is to blast Gipsy into the air then have her smash straight through the Mega Kaiju with only moments to spare. Even with Amara co-piloting Gipsy Avenger with Jake, the odds are severely against them since Gipsy is damaged and has no backup. During the finale, the Mega Kaiju is just too powerful and easily tears through Jaegers. She bursts out of a building dramatically and cuts at the back of the Mega Kaiju making this her third foray against the monster. Gipsy Avenger makes a move to continue fighting even when being the last Jaeger standing. So well in fact, that Newt had to fuse the 3 Kaijuus together to form the Mega Kaijuu And before that, despite this being their first official sorting, the cadets and their Jaegers were doing quite well.Bracer Phoenix uses its mace arm to smash the Mega Kaiju in the face hard enough to break off one of its mandibles.Saber Athena is the first (and only) to take out one of the Mega Kaiju's secondary brains.

Guardian Bravo is the only one to recover smoothly.

And just to cap it off, tough, agile, unflappable Scrapper is the only Jaeger to survive the film intact, albeit beaten up somewhat.
